I'd a request to update my postcard series with some new images from the recent Thaipusam festival. Armed with my new 15mm fisheye, here are the images and hope the client will like 'em, then you'll see 'em printed in time for next years event.
Spending most of my time working with computer graphics and editing for TV, I'd to venture into something more challenging and hopefully leaving some foot prints behind in this lifetime... So I took up photography...
Started as a hobby, now it is something I cannot live without it. I own a Leica M7 for small format - mostly for Salon works; Hasso for MF - mostly for B&W Fine Art works; and Sinar/Linhof for LF - mostly for Landscape and Architecture works. Lens... lost count
The recent introduction into Digital photography has given me the opportunity to work with Nikon D1x, later an unbeatable offer from Canon to 1DM2 and love every moment of it, especially the lastest 50mm f/1.2 lens. Digital - mostly for events/functions/editorial works.
My 2nd darkroom is almost into her final phase... which I'll be able to continue my B&W wet prints soon... The joy of holding a wet print is beyond words... I sold some of my prints but the battle is UPHILL!
My advice (2 sen worth!): know your equipment well, especially the lenses... Shoot what pleases you most, and try to please others... when you've achieve both and still be able to please yourselves... You have WON!
