Thaipusam Festival 2007

I'd a request to update my postcard series with some new images from the recent Thaipusam festival. Armed with my new 15mm fisheye, here are the images and hope the client will like 'em, then you'll see 'em printed in time for next years event.

I've to apologize for not being able to update my blog soonest. Not exactly an excuse, but these are some of the photos taken during my recent MIA, whilst taken a group of 18 photographers from Taiwan to visit Malaysia.

Our first stop was Melaka as shown in the following pictures. I'll continue to show you some more of 'em in the following days, when I've more time in my hands amist the coming Chinese New Year holidays.

Flora Fest at Putrajaya

This is another photography opportunity for me amongst the 240 events by the Tourism Malaysia during this year long event to promote Malaysia. The theme for this year's Flora Fest is Colours Of Harmony, as Malaysia's colourful blooms represent the beautiful racial harmony found in Malaysia.

Originally introduced in 1991, Malaysia's Floral Parade is the only such parade ever organized in Southeast Asia. And this year the parade will be more dazzling than ever. Participants from various organizations and state governments will try to outshine one another with their own floral creations.

Another day at The Eye

This time I've a buddy celebrity photographer Amry Ginang accompany me at the Eye.
A couple of tips from him with my fish-eye, I was able to see something that I've never thought of doing. Thank you.
The time came for me to do what I came to achieve today- low light sports photography. Not exactly a successful evening, but something for me to look forward by tomorrow with another round of Low Light Sports Photography, here are some of 'em:-

Not forgetting the fireworks from this angle:-

Before I end, I'd like all of you to take the effort to record all these moments. You might never know, there's a photography contest yet to announce soon.

Another Beautiful day

The morning started some exciting agenda with my clients and a meeting with my fellow photographer to initiate 2 projects later this year for TDC and her subsidiary. First one to rebrand one of my postcard series and another one probably will take me to Dubai to promote Malaysia in a big way.

No photography opportunity at Titiwangsa, as I understood that the fireworks will only be displayed during the weekends. However, this could be a good day for other photo outing; unfortunately, I've to reply quite a few posting in www.photomalaysia.com regarding Salon Photography issues... Not a productive day, if you asked me.

But I know, something good is coming, when the person-in-charge visited this blog with my recent images taken within the last one week.

Eye on 1DsM2

This time I thought of doing a little variation of the fireworks, so I went back again today with these, I've to pick those shots with the Eye on still and the Fireworks display around the negative space before I release the shutter, so there'll be not too many successful shots:- They are kind of abstract and we're lucky to be able to practise this 'everyday', and you know who I met, Kelvin Chan from PCP.

We 'd a little exchange of what've done just now, and he told me that, "KL photographers can do a book on this now!". I believe so! Here are more:-
